Bark & Fly Ranch Manners Programs

Our Manners Programs are offered as Day School combined with Daycare, or Boarding School combined with overnight Boarding and participation in daily Daycare.

Commands include: Recall, Come, Down, Sit, Stay, Loose Leash Walking, and Socialization

We can also address common household behaviors such as jumping, impolite greetings, counter-surfing, separation anxiety, or desensitization to specific people, places, or things. Our socialization training plays a key role in helping dogs build confidence around new people, other dogs, and unfamiliar situations, all within a safe and controlled environment.

We help dogs develop better focus and patience, and introduce them to various situations that enable them to learn to read appropriate social cues, with the goal of safely participating in a group play setting so they have fun rather than feeling anxious or becoming defensive. The more time we spend with your dog, the more we can accomplish and then pass along to you to maintain at home.

Puppy Preschool Program

Recommended for puppies under 4 months old

Puppies grow up fast, and so does their view of the world. The most critical window for socialization ends around 16 weeks of age, making those early months a powerful time to shape how your puppy experiences new people, places, and situations.

During this stage, puppies are exceptionally open and curious. With proper guidance and gentle exposure, they can learn that the world is a fun and safe place. Positive experiences during this period leave lasting impressions and help your puppy grow into a confident, well-adjusted adult.

That’s why we encourage pet parents to be proactive about early socialization. The more thoughtful, positive interactions your puppy has now, the better equipped they’ll be to handle life’s adventures later, with curiosity, instead of fear.

Our Puppy Preschool Program provides specialized training and socialization through enriching play sessions and socialization activities, with rest time in between which is essential for puppies to recharge.

6-Day Program – $720

We believe in supporting your pup’s journey every step of the way, so puppies who graduate from our Puppy Preschool Program are eligible for 10% off the next applicable training program.

Smart Start Puppy Program

Recommended for puppies over 4 months old

We encourage pet parents to be proactive about early socialization, so we created our Smart Start Puppy Program to set puppies on the path for a lifetime of good behavior. The more thoughtful, positive interactions your puppy has now, the better equipped they’ll be to handle life’s adventures later, with curiosity, instead of fear.

Our Puppy Preschool Program is designed to give your young pup the best possible foundation, blending fun, structure, and early learning into a two-week program.

Each training day includes:

  • Supervised playtime in Daycare
  • Three private training sessions that are tailored to your puppy’s stage of development.
  • A personalized report card with updates on what your pup worked on, what they accomplished, and helpful “homework” so you can reinforce the lessons at home with confidence and consistency.

Once the program wraps up, we’ll meet with you and your family for a one-hour private consultation. During this time, we’ll demonstrate the behaviors your puppy has learned, give you time to practice with them, and answer any questions you may have, ensuring you feel supported every step of the way.

A dog’s age, breed, temperament, and life experiences all play a role in how quickly they learn and adapt. Just as importantly, the consistency of practice at home makes a big difference. That’s why your partnership in this process is so valuable.

While we can’t promise exact outcomes or timelines, we can promise our full commitment to you and your dog. We’ll provide clear guidance, helpful tools, and ongoing support so you can continue the learning at home with confidence.
