Why Pet Owners Choose Colfax, NC
Colfax keeps things quiet — wooded lots, older farm roads, and a rural pace that’s hard to find closer to Greensboro or High Point. It’s also home to the Robert G. Shaw Piedmont Triad Farmers Market, the community’s best-known gathering spot, where leashed dogs are welcome to tag along while their people shop for local produce and flowers. Just up the road, Triad Park offers wooded trails, open fields, and the Carolina Field of Honor for dogs and owners who want a longer walk.
That same quiet, spread-out feel means Colfax doesn’t have a lot of dedicated off-leash space of its own — which is exactly where Bark & Fly Ranch comes in. Dogs get the acreage to run flat-out and play with a rotating group of friends, then head home tired in the best way. It’s why so many Colfax pet parents make the short drive to us instead of settling for a quick walk around the block.
Getting Here from Colfax

After about 1.1 miles, turn right into the driveway and you’re here: 8001 Clinard Farms Rd, High Point, NC 27265.
